Workplace Accessibility

Professional environments often present invisible barriers for disabled people, from physical office layouts to company policies that don't accommodate diverse needs.

What I Advocate For:

•Flexible Work Arrangements: Remote work options, adjustable schedules, results-based performance metrics, etc.

•Physical Accessibility: Workspaces designed with all bodies and abilities in mind.

•Inclusive Hiring Practices: Removing unnecessary barriers in recruitment and focusing on essential job functions.

•Accommodation Processes: Clear, dignified procedures for requesting and implementing workplace accommodations.

•Disability Confidence: Training for managers and colleagues on disability awareness and inclusive practices.

My Approach:

I work with organisations to audit their accessibility practices, provide training on inclusive workplace cultures, and develop practical strategies for meaningful change. I share personal experiences and evidence-based approaches that benefit both employees and employers.

Accessible Beauty & Skincare

The beauty industry has a long way to go when it comes to true inclusivity. Accessibility isn't just about representation in marketing campaigns—it's about creating products that everyone can actually use.

What I Advocate For:

•Adaptive Packaging: Beauty products with easy-open containers, pump dispensers, and ergonomic designs that work for those with limited dexterity or strength

•Clear Labeling: High-contrast, large-print text and braille options for those with visual impairments

•Fragrance Considerations: More fragrance-free options for those with sensory sensitivities and chemical allergies

•Inclusive Testing: Involving disabled consumers in product development and testing phases

•Affordable Options: Ensuring accessible products aren't priced at a premium compared to standard versions

My Approach:

I review products through an accessibility lens, highlighting brands that get it right and constructively addressing where improvements are needed. I collaborate with beauty brands willing to learn and adapt, offering consultations on how to make their products more accessible to everyone.
